Welcome to Buzzin’ Blooms!
Buzzin’ Blooms Flower Farm Update
The brilliant colors of fall have faded into soft browns, and though winter hasn’t quite arrived, we haven’t slowed down one bit at Buzzin’ Blooms! All the dahlias have been dug, with about half divided and tucked away for next season. This is no small feat!
There are still several thousand tulips waiting to be planted and a few peonies to divide and replant — if you can still work your soil, it’s not too late!
We have plenty of ways to brighten up your holidays. There are still a few spots left in our Fall Arrangement Class on November 23rd, and spruce tops can be ordered through Saturday, November 19th for pickup the week of Monday, Nov 21st. I’m also working on cedar branches — details coming soon!
On the website, you’ll now find amaryllis bulbs — perfect for gifting or growing yourself. They make thoughtful presents for teachers, neighbors, or that hard-to-shop-for person. Choose from several beautiful colors and keep in mind these are jumbo size (not the small dried ones from the big box stores) for the most impressive blooms after the holidays.
Bulbs can be picked up at our home, TerraLoco, or r!ah Hair Studio — just message me to arrange pickup. If you’d like them potted up, please reach out for options
As I did last year, I’ll also have 2026 Subscription Gift Cards available — a wonderful way to share the joy of fresh, local flowers for the holidays. They make the perfect gift for flower lovers and are sure to bring beautiful blooms and smiles well into next season. I will have those ready for purchase by Dec 1st.
Looking ahead, I’ll be at the Winter Market on Saturday, December 6th at the Chateau in downtown Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity to support small local businesses - art, pottery, clothing and so much more. It is always fun!
And if you missed the fall class, don’t worry — there will be a Christmas Arrangement Class on Sunday, December 21st. Those who attended the fall class will find a special discount code on the class info page. Registration for this class will be open on Sunday, Nov 13th.
As we continue to grow, we're proud to be part of the Southeast Minnesota Flower Farm Consortium, a community of local flower farmers supporting each other and promoting sustainable practices. Post Bulletin
Thank you for supporting Buzzin’ Blooms.
We look forward to sharing the beauty of the season with you!
